A lot of people seem to think that the new FRAGnStein™ control from Bannco is suited only to gamers from the PC that want to play on the ps3. This is quite simply untrue. I am a console gamer through and through and I think this control is one top bit of kit.
Imagine a straight forward Dualshock3®, now split it straight down the middle and you have basically got the start of what is the FRAGnStein™ Controller. I’ll break it down:
Right half of the Controller:
Every button in this image is placed on the FRAGnStein™ mouse:
On the left of the Mouse is you Square, Circle, Triangle & X buttons. Right and left click is R1 and R2. The roller ball is R3 and the centre button is START. The mouse also has the setup button for your FRAGnStein™ which you can use to scroll through the 27 different settings.
Everything in this image is placed on the FRAGnStein™ nun chuck:
You have an analogue which is used the same as the DS3 left analogue, if you press it down it is L3. You have the L1 and L2 triggers on the head of the nun chuck. As you can see the D-pad is also been put straight on their along with the Select button above it on the left and the PS/On-Off button above on the right. Not only does it have all these buttons included it also has sixaxis™ built into it which can also be setup to work on the PC.
The shape of the mouse makes it very comfortable to use whilst keeping all the buttons easily accessible. The same can also be said for the nun chuck which just as comfortable to use as well as being very light. As said above, the mouse holds the FRAGnStein™ settings button which lets you scroll through 27 varied settings until you find the best setting for you/the game you’re playing. You can do this by holding in the F button and scrolling with your mousewheel, unfortunately there is no flashing lights or on screen display to show you which setting you’re on, I just kept scrolling I click at a time until I found the optimal setting for my gaming style.
The FRAGnStein™ has really exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to any FPS fan whether it be on PC or PS3.
